: behind the silhouette :

there are unknown states that we exist in, somewhere between the past and the future, the unattainable present. but these fleeting moments truly never exist, the boundary is eternally blurred, undefinable all the while ever present.  this series of photographs with their ethereal and surreal qualities looks to explore this ambiguity. Where the fragility of the razor thin tear between life and death, or the warm familiar fog we fall through as we pass from being woke to being asleep becomes tangible.
